“Ding-a-Ling Man” Calls out Maccarinelli!
KO King Wilson willing to step in and face WBO Boss

Cruiserweight knockout artist Darnell “Ding-a-Ling Man” Wilson (22-5, 19 KOs)
is publicly inviting WBO Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Maccarinelli to prove to
the world he is truly “in it for the glory” by facing him. Maccarinelli (27-1, 20 KOs)
is reportedly looking for an opponent for his November 3 title defense at
Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. Wilson, and his co-promoters, Dino
Duva of Duva Boxing and Sal Musumeci of Final Forum, think he’s the perfect
man for the assignment.

“He has a title and I’m going to take it,” promised Wilson.

“The ‘Ding-a-Ling Man’ is the most exciting fighter in the division and one of the
most exciting in all of boxing,” added Duva. “He’s also the hottest fighter in
boxing, coming off a streak of fantastic knockouts. If Enzo Maccarinelli is
looking to make a worldwide name for himself on the Calzaghe vs. Kessler
undercard, let him face the number-one challenger in the world on a high-
profile stage.”

IBRAGIMOV - HOLYFIELD A HOT TICKET...
IN THE UNITED STATES

HOLLYWOOD, FL, October 1 – Despite taking place halfway around the world
at the Khodynka Arena in Moscow, Russia, October 13th’s highly-anticipated
showdown between WBO Heavyweight Champion Sultan Ibragimov and
challenger Evander Holyfield has become one of the sport’s hottest tickets - not
only in Russia, but here in the United States, where fans have been clamoring
for the opportunity to witness history in the making.

“This is going to be a historic event on many levels, and people are responding
to that.  We are extremely excited at the number of US fans that are purchasing
tickets.  It shows the magnitude of this event,” said Leon Margules, Executive
Director of Seminole Warriors Boxing.  “You’ve got a champion returning home
to make his first title defense on his own soil, and you also have Evander
Holyfield attempting to make history by winning his fifth heavyweight title, and
he’s also doing it outside of the United States for the first time.  October 13th is
going to be a great night for boxing and we’re pleased with the reaction to this
fight.”

McBride focused on Golota

VERO BEACH, Florida (October 1, 2007) – Irish heavyweight champion Kevin
“The Clones Colossus” McBride has broken his Vero Beach (FL) training camp
and arrived today (Monday, Oct. 1) in New York City for his crossroads fight
Saturday night against  Andrew Golota at Madison Square Garden.

McBride (34-5-1, 29 KOs), born in Clones and fighting out of Boston, landed in
the Big Apple, where he will be fighting for the first time, along with his new
manager, Jerry “Mighty” Quinn, and new trainer, former 2-time world champion
James “Buddy” McGirt.

Despite rumors that Golota was going to replace injured WBC champion Oleg
Maskaev as Samuel Peter’s opponent in the main event, as well as the
possibility of the entire show being cancelled without Maskaev fighting, McBride
remained fully focused on Golota, determined to continue his nearly lifelong
journey to become the first Ireland-born heavyweight champion of the world.

“I have a good manager, Jerry Quinn, who told me to keep training for the
Golota fight no matter, what,” McBride said. “I kept training to fight him, but I

Peter:              Never.  I'm now taking over as new heavyweight champion of the

CORONA , Calif. (Oct. 4, 2007) – Yonnhy Perez fights better than he spells.
The talented, undefeated bantamweight with the unusually spelled first name –
it is pronounced “Johnny” – improved to 14-0 with 11 knockouts with a
dominant, impressive fourth-round stoppage over  comebacking Alexander
Fedorov (18-4-1, 10 KOs) Friday on “ShoBox: The New Generation.’’

In the co-feature, former amateur champion and 2004 United States Olympian,
promising Mickey Bey Jr. (9-0, six KOs), registered two knockdowns en route to
scoring a second-round knockout over Castulo Gonzalez (9-4, three KOs).

The doubleheader, held at an outdoor venue at Omega Products International,
was promoted by Gary Shaw Productions, LLC, in association with Thompson
Boxing Promotions. It aired on SHOWTIME at 11 p.m. ET/PT (delayed on the
west coast).

The five-foot-seven-inch Perez, 28, of Santa Fe Springs , Calif. , by way of
Cartagena , Colombia , is big for a bantamweight and his size, strength and
punching power were too much for Fedorov, who also had to deal with jet lag
after arriving in the United States seven days ago from his native Russia.
